The bassist of the popular Coldplay rock band, Guy Berryman, finances the Bitcoin Zumo trading platform. According to a report published by Edinburgh News, Berryman, Murray Capital and the Investment Bank of Scotland are the investors who have supported the development of the Edinburgh-based fintech startup.

Zumo offers a crypto wallet and a payment application with Bitcoin, Ethereum and several other popular cryptocurrencies. According to Zumo CEO Nick Jones, there is a growing demand from small private investors for cryptocurrencies amid the turmoil caused by COVID-19 in the stock markets.
For this reason, the startup intends to launch a partnership with a bank by the end of 2020, which will also allow the purchase of cryptocurrencies with pounds and euros.
