The joint work, which in any case will also benefit the owners of Intel and NVIDIA hardware in some way, has focused onoptimize the performance of the new FPS with Ryzen processors, in order to allow the game to take advantage of a high number of cores and threads. The collaboration between the two companies will continue even after the launch, in the long run, by further optimizing the game and through marketing initiatives. “We have identified opportunities for additional configuration options, performance improvements and memory usage improvements on both PC and console and we are working together on different optimization solutions that should return benefits on all platforms. “One immediately thinks of FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution), even if the technology on which AMD and Microsoft are working with the highest priority is the support for ray tracing.

As for marketing, from October 26 (and for a limited time) AMD will include a one-month free Xbox Game Pass code for PC purchase of selected Radeon GPUs and Ryzen CPUs from participating retailers.
