Honor Router 3 official, the first of the brand with WiFi 6+

Honor Router 3 It was made official today, on the occasion of the Smart Life Product event, organized by the Asian manufacturer, which also saw other products presented, including the new laptop, MagicBook Pro 2020 and the first 5G tablet, Honor V6.

In essence, this is the first router developed by the company that uses the WiFi 6+ technology (802.3), an enhanced version of the WiFi 6 standard, capable of achieving combined speed of 3000 Mbps (574 Mbps for 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi + 2.402 Mbps for 5 GHz Wi-Fi). Optimized for smart-homes, environments in general where there are many connected devices and the bandwidth available is never enough, support for dual-frequency WiFi (2.4 and 5 Ghz), four external antennas and one dynamic bandwidth from 160 MHz, to better filter the signal beyond the walls.

A high-performance smart router, which hides the chip inside Lingxiao 650, compatible with technology Multi-User MIMO, ability to manage various devices through the Huawei Smart Life app and different levels of security including support for WPA3 next generation wireless encryption, DMZ, guest network, MAC address filter, VPN and internal protection against DoS attacks.

Honor Router 3 will be available in China starting May 24, at a price of 219 yuan – at the exchange rate about 28 euros.
