How does the GPU performance of Samsung’s Exynos 2200 compare to the Mali-78?

During the recent Unpacked event, Samsung did reveal a lot of good, but despite this, we still do not know the official spec of Samsung’s next-generation SoC. Despite this, however, we more or less know what the GPU performance in Exynos 2200 looks like.

Samsung will launch two versions of its S22 series – these will be available either with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the SoC Exynos 2200. The latter will be available mainly in Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Unfortunately, the company is still not eager to share the details of the Exynos 2200 processor with us, but fortunately we have some pre-release information (unofficial) at our disposal that suggests whether it is worth the wait or the hunt for this particular model.

According to current information, comparing the Exynos 2200 with the Exynos 2100 may be a great reason why Samsung is silent about the new SoC. Its CPU is supposed to be only 5% more efficient, and the GPU by only 17%, which is disappointing as in the announcement from the past, the Exynos 2100 vs Exynos 990 performance difference was 40%. Specifications details are still unclear except that the Xclipse 920 GPU (speculation clock speed: 1.3-1.4 GHz) based on AMD’s RDNA2 architecture will be at stake, and the CPU will build 1 Cortex X2 core, three A710s and four 510.
