How Smog Free Tower, or Smog Towers, fight pollution?

The first Smog Free Tower was established in 2015 in Rotterdam after a successful Kickstarter campaign. It was developed by the Dutch innovator and artist Daan Roosegaarde, who has been traveling the world since then and convinces other countries to build their Smog Towers, which are of course fighting smog.

How Smog Free Tower works

Smog Free Tower are installations for the direct capture of carbon dioxide throughout the country. Unlike most carbon capture solutions, Roosegaarde’s method does not dump waste underground.
