NVIDIA begins testing with the RTX 40 series

At the moment, NVIDIA has not officially announced the RTX 40 series but it is expected to do so very soon. According to the leaker kopite7kimi, the company is on a very good path in the development of the line based on the Ada Lovelace architecture and even have already started testing the AD102 GPU.

This should serve as a basis for the manufacturer to produce models such as the GeForce RTX 4090 and the GeForce RTX 4080among other options planned for the future. What is expected of the new line of graphics is 24 GB of GDDR6X memory, whose speed has varied between 21 Gbps and 24 Gbps, depending on the leak. Rumors indicate that the most powerful model will bring 18432 CUDA cores, 576 TMUs, 196 ROPs, 576 Tensor Cores and 144 Ray Tracing Acceleration Cores and an operating frequency between 2300 MHz and 2500 MHz.

Due to the drop in component prices that was observed during the first months of 2022, the new generation of graphics cards should benefit in terms of prices. The company has already revealed that the RTX 30 and RTX 40 lines will coexist, as a way to guarantee a sufficient amount of supply to consumers.
