How to bypass the Microsoft account requirement during Windows setup

I like how you assume your readers are literate enough to even clean install Windows.
Your readers just complain about anything, they won’t clean install to be ‘aware’ of ways to bypass it, i.e. if they were that worried about the Microsoft account requirement, they wouldn’t even care, either clean install of Windows 11 today or the most likely option, which would be to simply upgrade Windows 10 to Win11, which would not require any bypasses.

Anyway, I know your readers will complain and say privacy blabla… Most people don’t have problems with Microsoft accounts, the problem is the automatic name that is created for the users folder, which is 5 automatic characters taken of your email, if your email is less than 5 characters it will look bad, if your email is more than 5 characters it will also be bad, if your email has a weird name that you don’t want as your user folder, you will hate it too.

Some people just set up local accounts to customize the users folder name and then add the Microsoft account like they do with Edge and others.

I remember when I first signed in with a Microsoft account that was the problem so all I could do was create the local account with the correct name then delete the Microsoft account and set up your local account but that means on your record, the user’s would be S-1-5-21-111111111-111111111-1111111111-1002 instead of 1001.
For people who don’t like that crap on record, then people want their main account to stay at 1001, as it should.

I’ve never tried it, but I’m sure you can tweak the registry and rename the folder and then reset the account and set the right folder for you. it just requires more work.

But anyway the point is people wouldn’t complain about microsoft account if you could create the folder with whatever name you want instead of it being automatic this isn’t android or apple where you don’t care where your data is local or roaming. , on Windows it’s important so having to replace your usual username with a weird name because your email isn’t good enough for the 5 character auto name then that’s what sucks about breaking into Microsoft account .

But stop pretending people will even clean install windows 11 it’s actually stupid to clean install windows 11 in 2022 you don’t need to clean install when you change the motherboard or anything of course the license won’t be anymore valid, but with a 2nd drive, anyone can get a legitimate license thanks to the win7 upgrade process, so from 7 to 10, it’s not legal and not too illegal.
You don’t need to do a clean install to fix Windows because Windows offers ways to do it, and people can do an in-place upgrade if something goes wrong.
Windows works, even if people complain about its privacy fairy tale, how ‘close source’ it is and proprietary stuff, it works.
People who clean install because they ‘broke it beyond repair’ are stupid, they’re the same ones who install a bunch of crap, then blame it on a Windows update or upgrade that slows down their computer.

Why don’t people who complain about Windows using Linux now ignore these kinds of articles? Why do people who don’t even use or plan to use win11 complain? LOL
I know we live in a world of clowns, where people complain about a horse in the Win10 search bar, but yeah, some people are more than clowns when it comes to Microsoft and Windows.
This isn’t hard to get around like you showed, there are a million other ways to do it, but lazy clowns will complain and pretend they’re cool because they use Win7 or Linux, so this article doesn’t even apply to them.

And I mean, it’s sad, your article will eventually help people who need this, but not today, today you’ll only get clownish readers who are illiterate and don’t even plan to use the information you provided, that’s the sad part. when the majority of your reader base are humans so pathetic that they barely understand technology but feel so empowered, the same ones that scream privacy while having accounts on every possible website, social media, and game company.

Thanks for the info, I already knew about those methods, but if I ever need them, I’ll come here and review them if necessary. I use win11, I overlooked the stupid TPM requirement, win11 works better than win10 and win7. And I have win11 pro, so this will affect me eventually…maybe, I don’t know if I’ll ever have to install win11 again on this computer.
