–
If you’re new to being a Pokémon trainer, you may not know much about stardust yet. this is a valuable resource which we will make use of throughout the game.
If you have already tried everything and still do not discover how earn some stardust, don’t worry here we will explain everything you need to know in Pokémon Go to obtain it quickly and thus be able to make your Pokémon more powerful.
Pokémon Go is a game that you can download to your Android phone or to your iPhone, once you start playing you discover a lot of game mechanics, such as the use of special itemspokeballs, candies and stardust.
Stardust is basically used to evolve our Pokémons and thus be able to raise their CP or combat points, it is also a necessary resource to the purification of shadow Pokémons. It is a limited resource which as we level up it will cost us to find more stardust in the prizes, for this reason it is one of the most important resources for a Pokémon trainer.
Within the game there are several ways to get stardust in good quantities, although some are more effective than others all are good options to make this resource.
This is undoubtedly the best and fastest way to get stardust, it is take advantage of the evolutionary chain, capturing Pokémon. Starting with the update where ‘Gen 2’ was added, the rewards for catching Pokemon that are higher in the evolutionary chain are getting better.
Thus, if you catch a Pokémon that is in the first evolutionary chain it will only give you 100 stardustwhile a Pokémon in the third chain will give you up to 500. But beware, catching a Pokémon in its third evolution is not an easy task, so the best thing you can do is start with the easy ones.
A good strategy is to farm stardust catching more common Pokemons and first chain evolutionary weaklings, like Zubats and Rattatas, as these will be easier to catch, you can also try using incense or bait modules to lure them in quickly.
Think about it if you catch a Pokémon in a minute you would earn 100 stardustif we go to numbers in an hour you would easily get 6000 stardust and if they are during an event your earnings would double.
Another way to get stardust is to get Pokémon eggs on your map and hatch even if this one it is a slightly slower mechanic that the previous one is still effective. Pokémon eggs can be found at pokestops and to hatch them basically you have to walk the distance indicated by this egg, the greater the distance, the greater the reward in stardust.
The hatching rewards vary by two factors, the distance from the egg and the Pokémon that hatches from it, you will be able to get the following amounts of stardust under this rule:
Another way to get stardust is by fighting in the gyms, the battles they will always give you good rewards and one of those is the star dust, when fighting with trainers we can win from 500 to 1000 star dust, in case they are gym leaders it is 300 to 1000 star dust, and finally if we defeat the Rocket team in an invasion They will give us 500 stardust.
We can also earn stardust if you feed berries to the Pokémon you put defending your team’s gym, giving berries increases your Pokémon’s spirits and rewards you with 20 stardust and also with pokemonedas.
Lastly, you can also earn stardust by participating in raidsthese will always reward you with 1000 stardust, this regardless of the level of the raid you decided to enter.
The captures of Pokémons as we have already said is the most effective way to get stardust without much effort, and the rewards to do so vary by two factors, the evolution in which this Pokémon is and if they are boosted by the weather. Next, we will show you the amounts in each case:
