How to Upload Long Videos to My WhatsApp Status – The Simple Way

The new modality of WhatsApp and one of the last updates that it had was to be able to verify who has seen the status of WhatsApp and place statuses for 24 hours. Clear as any other application, these functions They have their limitations, for example that the videos to see them in a state cannot be very long.

However, it is possible to place them in your state without much process; for that reason, in this development we want to explain how you can upload long videos to whatsapp status.

What is the duration limit of a video in a WhatsApp status?

So far, the only duration option that the WhatsApp platform allows for sharing videos in the states is only 30 seconds. And for now, there is no way with other apps that allow or do the job of sending the entire video in a single state.

Why can’t I post a video longer than 30 seconds?

WhatsApp Messenger is an application that from its inception proved to be an application for instant messaging for anyone all over the world, and it always had updates in its versions. But, we cannot ask and say that they place more complete functions when, at the moment, it cannot be achieved.

When we try to send a video that lasts a minute and a half for example, the WhatsApp application will tell you that it it is very long or takes up a lot of space. Of course, the same application gives you a quick option that you can follow without leaving the platform and we want to explain it to you later.

How do I share a long and complete video in my state?

As we mentioned before, if you want share a long video on your WhatsApp status, you have to follow certain steps depending on your tastes and need to share the video.

Split the video manually

In the first place or the first option we have is the quick option that WhatsApp itself gives us, split video manually, choosing in which second we want to cut. To do that, log in to your WhatsApp account and go to the camera icon or swipe the screen to the right to find the video in the gallery.

Once you have it already selected and it appears on the screen among the last options that WhatsApp gives you to upload it, you will see a bar at the top. This bar covers the estimated time that the application gives you to upload the video, if you like you can cut it there and repeat the steps to upload the missing part later.

Create a GIF

To create a GIF with the same WhatsApp camera, what you must do is repeat the first steps that we left you previously, to look for the camera icon. When you already have the camera active, press the circle to record a video and when you complete it you must cut it that lasts less than 6 seconds to make it a GIF.

On the other hand, if you already have a video saved in your gallery, you can also convert it to GIF, and for that it cuts the video so that it lasts 6 seconds or less. Now, and if none of these options please you, there is another way that can help you quickly.

That last option is downloading an application like WhatsCut Pro + or SplitVideo that helps you cut and upload the videos directly to the WhatsApp status. For example, if you use WhatsCut Pro + you will have the help to be able to cut or easily split the long videos you want to upload to the state. In this way you can use the gifs in WhatsApp correctly.

To use it, the process is simple, the same application enters the gallery to search for the video, then you can cut it both in equal times or in a single part. If you have selected the option that are in 30 seconds for example each part, the same application will enter WhatsApp so that you can send the videos to your contacts.

Those three options are the only ones you have to be able to upload long videos to your status and so far WhatsApp has not reported an update with this improvement.
