Intel published a new video where the video card appears Arc A750 Limited Edition. In the video, Intel’s Senior Director Graphics and HPC Marketing (AXG Marketing), Ryan Shrout, illustrates the support of the new Alchemist GPUs for features such as VRR, HDR and HDMI.

As for the Variable Refresh Rate, Intel has shown how the monitor refresh rate and the frame rate produced by the GPU go hand in hand, all to the benefit of a better image – free from stuttering, tearing and other issues. For the occasion it was used Death Strandingreproduced at 1440p resolution (2560×1440 pixels) with default graphic preset.

La Arc A750 Limited Edition ha produced between 80 and 100 FPS in the game portion shown, and it’s interesting to know because this “test” adds to the five tests released by Intel in which the card outperforms NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060. Shrout also confirmed that Arc GPUs support any monitor with VRRalthough the company has currently validated over a hundred.

The card was also connected to a resolution monitor 3440×1440 pixel to highlight support HDR, but without rattling off performance numbers. Finally, Shrout has spoken also of HDMI: “Series A GPUs natively support HDMI 2.0but partners and OEMs can integrate HDMI 2.1 support via a PCON chip (protocol converter) which converts DisplayPort signal to HDMI 2.1 signal. Our Limited Edition cards, both the A750 and A770, will support HDMI 2.1 via this method. Other third-party video cards and notebooks will support it if integrated. “

The best solution from Intel, the Arc A770, should instead integrate a GPU with 32 Xe-cores, as well as 16 GB of GDDR6 memory at 15.5 Gbps on a 256-bit bus. The list price is expected to fall between $ 349 and $ 399.
