This was announced by Kiev Martins, producer of Dolmen at Massive Work Studio, in ainterview with Wccftech.

In the past few days we have had ours first contact with AMD FSR 2.0 and we were positively impressed, finding a quality level similar to NVIDIA’s DLSS. The strength of AMD’s FSR as much as nature of Intel XeSS open-source and the ability to run even on competing architectures.

Intel XeSS can be accelerated by the XMX cores of Intel’s Alchemist GPUs (currently available only in the mobile environment) while on other GPUs it will work using the DP4a instruction. According to Intel, the latter will impose a slightly higher overhead than what can be seen with native operation on XMX cores.
