Interpol, Follows The Dark Side Of The Internet

The International Criminal Police Service (Interpol) has announced that it has partnered with the South Korean data intelligence firm S2W Lab to analyze activities on the Dark Web (Dark Network), known as the dark side of the internet, including crypto transactions.

The contract term announced on 20 March will be 1 year. S2W previously stated that they have created a database of dark network and that they have reached so many inaccessible information about this subject. As part of its agreement with S2W, Interpol aims to share data and access cryptocurrency links that cannot be tracked.

S2W Labs CEO Suh Sangduk explained the difficulty of detecting cybercrime in the dark network due to the widespread use of cryptocurrencies. Sangduk also stated that with the agreement, international cooperation will be achieved and they will work for good purposes.

The statement made by Interpol in January stated that the malware that directed crypto assets in Southeast Asia decreased by 78 percent. Interpol is increasing its measures against crimes committed with cryptocurrencies day by day. Although this situation affects the fact that cryptocurrencies are decentralized and cannot be tracked, it also increases global confidence.
