Italian Eni: Gazprom announced the impossibility of supplying gas on Saturday
ROME, Oct 1 – PRIME. Russia’s Gazprom told the Italian oil and gas group Eni that it would not be able to supply gas to Italy on Saturday because it was “impossible to transport it” through Austria, the Italian company said in a statement.
Gazprom supplies gas to Europe through Ukraine according to requests for October 1
“Gazprom” reported that it could not confirm the volumes of gas requested today due to the declared impossibility of transporting gas through Austria. Thus, today the flow of Russian gas destined for Eni through the Tarvisio checkpoint will be at zero level,” the communiqué says. Eni will provide new information “if supplies are resumed.”
