This Thursday Nvidia will hold a virtual conference as a replacement for the conference planned for GTC, and after the advance that “Get Amped” mentioned in reference to Ampere, now the company showed a video where its CEO Jensen Huang releases "the largest graphics card in history, fresh from the oven." Yes, literally out of the oven.
What’s Jensen been cooking?
The video is titled "What was Jensen cooking?" It shows how the CEO takes a complete motherboard from a high-performance computing system out of his home oven and rests it on the counter. Obviously they do not mention which system, although they show it completely, allowing us to see an interesting preview.
Based on last week's patent, it is most likely DGX A100, the new artificial intelligence oriented DGX system based on the new Tesla with Ampere architecture that would be announced this Thursday. It is not confirmed, but there is a high probability that this is the case.
In just two days we will know what Jensen has been cooking, so we recommend that you stay tuned to the news on Thursday.
