KFA2 releases shocking pink Geforce RTX card

While many only care about the performance and function of computer components, there is now also a growing interest in the aesthetic aspect of these. In contrast to the anonymous circuit boards in the 1990s in green and brown, today’s manufacturers spend significantly more time on the appearance of components, where both color themes and lighting should make them match the user’s other builds.

Now KFA2 and the parent company Galax unveil a series of graphics cards in the striking color pink. These are Geforce RTX 2080 Super EX and RTX 2070 Super Ex with the suffix “Pink Edition”, which have a radiator cap and cover plate on the back that goes in just pink. However, the company does not really run the line out but retains a circuit board in the same color theme as its white edition of the cards.

Apart from the color theme, the cards are based directly on their more discreet siblings in the Super EX series. This means a minor factory overclocking out of cardboard for both models, where the turbo frequency of the RTX 2080 variant is increased by 30 MHz while the RTX 2070 ditto is increased by 45 MHz.

The cooling device consists of an aluminum heat sink with four heat conduction tubes that distributes the heat over it. The package is cooled by double 100 mm fans with semi-passive operation, which means that these can stand still at rest. Not entirely unexpectedly, the fans are also equipped with RGB lighting and can thus be set to color match the rest of the card if desired.
