KuCoin Exchange Launches Margin Trading Service

On October 31, KuCoin cryptocurrency exchange will launch a service for margin trading. Traders will be able to borrow digital assets, the value of which can be several times higher than the initial collateral.

According to representatives of KuCoin, the new service will significantly expand the ability of users to complete trade transactions. By selling borrowed assets, traders will be able to open short positions for greater profit.

The management of the exchange declares that, compared with conventional trading, margin trading can be more profitable. Moreover, given the high liquidity and price fluctuations, this type of trade implies high risks.

The exchange has not yet provided detailed information on loan conditions, however, it is known that for holders of internal KCS tokens, trading commissions will be reduced by 20%.

Recall that in July KuCoin launched its own platform for trading cryptocurrency derivatives KuMEX, on which trading with leverage up to 20x is available, and in March the exchange introduced the platform for conducting IEO – KuCoin Spotlight.
