MOSCOW, 29 Aug – PRIME. The Lamoda online store and the Russian resale platform Second Friend Store have launched the sale of used branded items, the company reports.

“Lamoda has a Resale section — it contains used items from well-known brands… All items are checked by our partner, the Russian resale platform Second Friend Store… The new section contains resale items from more than 50 luxury brands, including Gucci, Celine , Chanel, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton,” the release said.
It is noted that the product card will indicate information about the presence or absence of defects. The goods themselves are paid, like others, after they are received.
It is emphasized that Lamoda will develop the section according to the dropshipping model. Resale products can be added to the order along with other products of the platform, but the Second Friend Store will be responsible for the storage, delivery and return of products. After ordering the goods, a representative of the partner contacts the buyer and agrees on a convenient delivery date.
Lamoda is one of the largest online stores in Russia and the CIS. The company also operates in Kazakhstan and Belarus. Since 2014, it has been part of the Global Fashion Group.
