Lenovo could enter the motherboard market under the Legion brand

Lenovo could soon enter the market of high-performance motherboards with the brand Legion, a line of products aimed primarily at gamers that boasts both PC / notebook inside – see the recent Legion 7i and 5i with Intel 10th gen – what smartphone like the long awaited Legion Phone.

To suggest Lenovo's interest in this market segment are some images, leaked on the net, of two new license plates Lenovo Legion. In detail, there are two models for Intel processors with 300 and 400 series chipsets, the latter which, if confirmed, could indicate that the Chinese giant could soon announce a range for Intel Core 10th gen desktop processors "Comet Lake- S ".

From the available images, we note that Lenovo could offer medium / high end solutions (at least initially), with a decent power section configured with 8 + 2 phases, a good set of doors and an acceptable design. The cards in question also support 4 DDR4 DIMM slots, dual M.2 slots and a good dissipation of VRM and M.2 SSDs.

At the moment no further details have been leaked, however we remember that i Intel Core 10th gen processors are expected in late Apriltherefore any partner motherboards should arrive in the same period.
