Today there are new surprises for all technology lovers, and in this case we mean the new Ryzen 6000 APUs. The next generation 6nm APU with its code name Rembrandt will be the central pillar to mount in the next notebooks with Ryzen 6000.
In addition, it is expected that later these same Ryzen 6000 APUs will arrive in formats for desktop PCs, but for that we will have to wait a bit.
We have been reporting on some leaks of this processor for a while, and now that a lot of information is official, we can say that these new Rembrandt processors will have up to 8 cores and 16 threads.
In addition, the interesting thing is that some Ryzen 6000HX will have the possibility of increasing up to 5.0 GHz. Instead this Rembrandt APU will require a new FP7 socket, which will force laptop manufacturers to adjust their designs accordingly.
Also note that these new processors will be fully compatible with PCIe Gen4 and DDR5 memories, something that we are happy to know as it means that we will see very powerful gaming laptops.
So you can not miss details of the AMD conference, because today at the premiere of several AMD products in the CES 2022including the new APU series along with updated Radeon RX 6000M GPUs for notebooks.
