Looks like the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is in the works!

Designed for users who do not need RTX.

We’ve heard plenty of rumors that Nvidia is planning to announce a new series of GTX 11 graphics cards, but this is the first time we’ve heard of a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti.

Apparently, such a strangely named graphics card is indeed in development and will feature a TU116 GPU with 1536 CUDA cores and 6GB GDDR6, according to three sources from Videocardz interviews. The new GTX 1660 Ti is said to have no RTX cores – no word on the situation with tensor cores – as a cost-cutting measure for users who aren’t willing to spend premium funds on ray traced graphics cards.

Around the release of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, there were active rumors that a GeForce GTX 1160 graphics card would also be announced, so sudden rumors with a GTX 1660 seem a little strange. We’re also baffled by how few CUDA cores are compared to the 1920 Nvidia RTX 2060 cores, although the tech cores are still over 1280 CUDA cores on the Nvidia GTX 1060.

And while this rumor is deeply rooted in the ground, it is obvious that Nvidia will have to announce more affordable video cards to replace the 10-series Pascal video card at the end of the life cycle. Will it be 11-series video cards without RTX or 16-series, but even RTX 2050 (Ti) is still unknown.
