A “fragmented” and individualistic French ecosystem
Deemed "fragmented, dominated by individual interests, hampered in its development", this ecosystem therefore needs to be concerted and to be "defended with one voice". The ambition of the FFPB, for its founders, is therefore to bring French standards to the international level.
The objective is also political in order to make France "audible" on the world stage. “Relays in the corridors of the European institutions”, but also national, must contribute to it. For this, the Federation wishes to bring together large and small businesses, academics, researchers, liberal professions and public actors.
With "will to make France an international benchmark In the blockchain sector, the FFPB promises to commit itself to the exclusive defense of the interests of the actors of the ecosystem. And this in a "multi-sectoral" approach (finance, tourism, real estate, gaming …). The blockchain technology would also be an integral part of the governance of this federation.
Note that the French blockchain industry is not completely without representation. At the start of the year, a dozen crypto-actors, including Ledger, Ark and ConsenSys, have created ADAN, an association whose goal is to develop the digital asset sector in France.
