MOSCOW, 11 Oct — PRIME. One of the largest Australian energy companies Alinta Energy has warned of an increase in retail electricity prices by more than 35% in 2023, News.com.au reports.
“According to the results of energy pricing modeling next year, tariffs will increase by at least 35%,” CEO Jeff Dimery said at the energy and climate summit.
The head of Alinta Energy noted that he is not sure whether the government is going to take any action on this issue.
Daimery also expressed his concern about the amount of work ahead that is needed to transition Australia to renewable energy.
