Microsoft Surface Laptop 4: alleged benchmark with Intel Tiger Lake-U

The first information about a new leaked Microsoft Surface Laptop, probably the 4th, with processors Intel Tiger Lake-U. The chips have not yet been officially announced, but are expected to come out later in 2020. The benchmark of a Microsoft Surface device with these chips have appeared on the 3DMark platform, with scores of 8,412 (physical) and 5,540 (graphics). They are in line with the Ryzen Mobile 4,000 series, which the company mentioned just a few days ago.

As you can see, the details are very scarce, and a lot of information is bogus / obscured. In any case, the chip seems to have an operating frequency of 2.7 GHz, capable of rising to 4.3 GHz in boost mode. Apparently this specific model, whose name is unknown, is a eight-core quad-core.

It will likely be equipped with 8 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal SSD. Always according to preliminary rumors, the laptop should still be equipped even with AMD processors, exactly as happened with the third generation (of which we spoke just a few days ago). It should be the Ryzen Mobile 4.000, in fact.
