Looking to stand out above the standard RTX 2080 Ti with 14Gbps memories, MSI launched its new RTX 2080 Ti Gaming Z Trio, which uses 16Gbps GDDR6 memory for 14% greater bandwidth.
Outside the memory frequency, it is identical to the RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio that has been on the market for months, with its same PCB, same TRI-FROZR cooling with TORX 3.0 fans and his himself boost to 1755MHz.
Thanks to this implementation, this MSI graphics card is the one with the fastest memory on the market, exceeding the 15.5Gbps of the RTX 2080 Super. Also, thanks to its 352-bit bus, It achieves a bandwidth of 704GB / s, surpassing even the Titan RTX which has 672GB / s.
It will be interesting to see the overclocking capacity of these modules, which is surely much greater than that of the 14Gbps modules that we normally see. For this we must wait for it to be commercialized and the first reviews arrive.
