Neufund receives permission from Liechtenstein regulator to sell tokens

Startup Neufund began making public offerings of tokens in its tokenized securities platform after receiving permission from the financial regulator of Liechtenstein.

On Monday, the startup announced the launch of public offerings of tokenized shares for retail investors. Neufund co-founder and CEO Zoe Adamovicz stated that in this way, the startup “fulfills its promise to democratize access to finance for entrepreneurs around the world.”

“This is a great day – not just for Neufund, but for the entire business and finance industry,” she said.

The Neufund platform for tokenizing and issuing securities is one of the most active participants in the Ethereum network and has been developing a code base since 2016. The first retail public offering of tokenized shares will be implemented for the Greyp platform.

Last year, the Maltese Stock Exchange (MSX) announced the creation of a platform for trading stock tokens and concluded several agreements, including with Neufund, aimed at creating new platforms for tokenized securities.
