The leak covers a large spectrum of CPU offerings that Intel intends to introduce to the mobile segment as part of the 12th generation Core. The list starts with the Core i5-1240P with 12 cores and 16 threads to the Core i9-12900HK with 14 cores and 20 threads, which includes both high and low TDP chips. This probably means that processors like Core i5-1240P and Core i7-1280P actually have the same number of cores as their H-series counterparts like Core i5-12500H and Core i7-12700H, but with much lower clocks.

You can see their performance above and although it is difficult to estimate the performance in real workloads based on the results from Geekbench 5, the points obtained by them can be used to give an idea of ​​how the performance of these Core compares compared to other CPUs. However, they are hardly true, based on the results of the Core i9 series, but it’s better than nothing.

It is certain that we will see these systems in laptops next year, because their presentation will probably take place at CES 2022. Intel has already sent samples to its partners a month ago, who are probably testing them now, and hence the leaks of this type.
