MOSCOW, 4 Sep — PRIME. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak congratulated the oil workers on their professional holiday and called on them to unite and jointly overcome the current challenges for the development of the Russian oil and gas complex.
“Your profession is one of the most respected and significant for the economy of our country. You reliably provide citizens and industry with energy resources, not only in Russia, but also abroad,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
He stressed that Russia is a leader in the world oil and gas market, has a large-scale resource base, developed infrastructure, and high technological and scientific competencies in the industry. Speaking about the development of the fuel and energy complex, Novak noted the expansion of the production of liquefied natural gas, the use of gas as a motor fuel, the opening of new petrochemical enterprises, the introduction of digital technologies and the improvement of the environmental friendliness of production.
On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, special attention is paid to the gasification of the regions of the country, Novak also noted in his speech.
“Today, in the face of external pressure on the economy of our country, including the oil and gas complex, it is especially important to combine our efforts and competencies. To unite and jointly overcome the current challenges on the way to the further progressive development of the industry. I am sure that we will definitely succeed.
