Nvidia G-Sync for laptops

Nvidia’s G-Sync has been on the agenda for a long time and the test lab has been able to test several screens with the technology. The competing solution from AMD, Freesync, has just stumbled into the market, literally. The discussion is hot about which technology is best and whether problems and childhood diseases can be blamed on the respective graphics card manufacturers or the screen makers.

In the midst of all this, Nvidia is taking the next natural step with G-Sync, namely to adopt laptops. In the test lab today, we find the Asus G751JY, which is one of the first with the technology and not least a 17.3-inch IPS panel in 75 Hz, which is powered by Nvidia’s mobile flagship Geforce GTX 980M.
