A quartet of graphics cards in the Geforce RTX series will soon be followed by new mid-range models from Nvidia. For these, the suffix “GTX” returns, which means that support for ray tracing in real time strokes on the foot, but the remaining improvements from the latest architecture Turing persists.

Shortly after specifications for the Geforce GTX 1660 Ti and GTX 1660 were found on the web, Hard OCP reports on both prices and launch dates. First and foremost, the information is strengthened that the Geforce GTX 1660 Ti will be launched on February 15 and the price will be USD 279, which at today’s exchange rate corresponds to just under SEK 3,200 including VAT.
The model will be followed by the Geforce GTX 1660, which is largely reminiscent of the GTX 1060 but where the improvements to the Turing architecture should give a real boost to performance. The launch of this model will take place a few weeks later in early March and the price is set at 229 USD. This is USD 20 lower than the GTX 1060 and corresponds to SEK 2,600 including VAT.
The report also mentions a Geforce GTX 1650, which is probably the graphics card that in previous leaks was called GTX 1150 and GTX 2050. Previous information has claimed that the model gets 896 CUDA cores and 4 GB of graphics memory. The graphics card is said to be released at the end of March for 179 USD, corresponding to just over SEK 2,000 including VAT.
In conclusion, the report suggests that Nvidia will continue deliveries of the Geforce GTX 1050 Ti, which thus lives on. Whether this also applies to its scaled-down sibling GTX 1050 is not clear. The models’ recommended prices are 139 and 109 USD respectively.
