Nvidia Releases WHQL Drivers for Windows 8

Microsoft’s next operating system Windows 8 is known to be underway, and the latest edition Release Preview is frequently tested by users all over the world. Nvidia is keeping up with the train, and is taking the opportunity to release drivers with the WHQL stamp.

The new Geforce 302.82 WHQL is largely the same as the previous test version Geforce 302.80, which above all means full support for Microsoft’s new driver model WDDM v1.2. New, however, will be an improved control panel for stereoscopic 3D.

Nvidia Geforce 302.82 WHQL only works with Windows 8, and is recommended for anyone running the current test version of the operating system with Geforce graphics from 6 Series or later under the hood. The software is available for download from the company’s website.
