Nvidia unveils GeForce RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti – What you need to know
Nvidia introduces new laptop graphics cards, the RTX 3050 and 3050 Ti for budget and mainstream laptops.
Nvidia has announced the new Nvidia RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti laptop graphics cards, with gaming laptops equipped with the latest entry-level RTX 3000 graphics starting at $799 ($60,000 + VAT). Nvidia’s new range of mobile graphics cards has been unveiled alongside 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake-H processors and RTX 30 Studio machines, aiming to offer ray tracing and DLSS for most laptops under Rs 75,000. You could expect performance in excess of 60 FPS in heavy games like Call of Duty: Warzone and Outriders, which, according to Nvidia, can offer double the performance of comparable previous generation graphics cards.

According to Nvidia, the new RTX 3050 and 3050 Ti graphics cards, both equipped with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM, are replacing the previous GTX 1650 Ti graphics. What’s more, players can expect solid performance above 60 FPS in demanding games with active DLSS and RT. We love the way it sounds.

As presented above, players would expect around 100fps playing Call of Duty: Warzone and get around 70fps in games like Watch Dogs Legion and Minecraft with RTX – figures with tracing enabled.
And while the RTX 3050 doesn’t offer the same performance, the new graphics card still hits 60fps in Call of Duty and delivers the performance you need in more demanding games.

Other laptops equipped with RTX graphics include an updated batch of machines from various manufacturers, including the Razer Blade 15, Alienware M15 R5, MSI GS76 Stealth, ASUS Zephyrus M16, Dell XPS 17, and more.
That’s not all, as the tech company also announced Nvidia Reflex, a high frame rate, low latency technology for core esports gaming. The new mode will even allow the RTX 3050 Ti to deliver high frame rates in games like Overwatch, Valorant, and Rainbow Six Siege.
