In Zaporizhzhia, they allowed an appeal to Russia in case of energy shortage
MOSCOW, 12 Sep — PRIME. Volodymyr Rogov, chairman of the movement “We are with Russia”, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, allowed the region’s authorities to appeal to the Russian Federation in case of an energy shortage.
Earlier, the authorities of the region announced the shutdown of the last operating 6th power unit of the nuclear power plant. The so-called “cold stop” mode is applied. At the same time, the power supply of the region is carried out in a regular mode, there are no interruptions.
“So far, we have no problems with the power supply of the region. Everything is working normally, but in case of problems, it is possible to turn to Russia for help. Now only Russia comes to the aid of the residents of the liberated territories, we can’t wait for support and understanding from anywhere,” Rogov told RIA Novosti .
According to him, Russia has already come to the aid of the region after the Ukrainian side cut off gas supplies.
“Now a gas pipeline is being built, and soon we will be with Russian gas,” Rogov stressed.
