MOSCOW, 10 Oct – PRIME. World oil prices on Monday morning are declining after rising during the previous five trading days, according to trading data.
As of 09.03 Moscow time, the price of December futures for Brent crude oil is reduced by 0.78% to $97.16 per barrel, November futures for WTI by 0.79% to $91.91 per barrel.
Oil prices are falling on Monday morning after five days of growth caused by fears of a reduction in the supply of this type of raw material, which have intensified since last week OPEC + decided to reduce oil production by 2 million barrels per day from November.
In addition, the markets reacted to the data of the American oilfield services company Baker Hughes on the number of active oil drilling rigs in the US. For the week to October 7, their number decreased by two – to 602 units.
