The fourth international blockchain, cryptocurrency and mining forum Blockchain Life 2019 was attended by over 4,800 participants.
World industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and startups from 70 countries gathered at one venue to discuss current trends and determine the development of the industry for the coming years.
The headliner of the forum was the Assistant to the President of Venezuela and the Director of the Cryptocurrency Authority, Joselit Ramírez. He talked about how they created the El Petro cryptocurrency and about the wide possibilities of its application – the purchase of equipment, medicines, real estate and any other goods and services in Venezuela.
Sergey Khitrov (Listing.Help) announced the creation of a new association IDEO (International Digital Economy Organization), whose activities will be aimed at the development of digital technologies in Russia. In the coming years, the association will focus on the development of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, as well as provide its proposals for regulating the industry.
The international exchange BitForex.com has announced several listing contracts with promising projects in 2019, and the cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin has announced the launch of bitcoin futures. In addition, mining giant Bitmain introduced the improved ASIC miners S17 + and T17 +.
