Palit unveils the Geforce GTX 1050 Ti fanlessly

Graphics cards are becoming increasingly energy-efficient and efficient, which increases the possibility for manufacturers to reduce their size, which has, among other things, given rise to powerful graphics cards that only take up one expansion space. It also makes it possible to make Pascal-based graphics cards without fans, as Taiwanese Palit now does.

The model is called Geforce GTX 1050 Ti Kalmx Silent and is, as the name suggests, a passively cooled graphics card. The model will be the first of its kind on the market and will, according to Palit, offer the same performance as the fan-cooled counterparts. Like these, the model has 4 GB of graphics memory and requires no extra power supply.

Otherwise, the card takes up two expansion slots and for cooling, a cooler is measured that measures 182 mm with two nickel-plated heating tubes, which is the same as used for the company’s passively cooled Geforce GTX 750 Ti. In connection connection, the card is equipped with an HDMI, a DVI-D and a DisplayPort output.
