MOSCOW, Sep 2 — PRIME. The only working turbine of the Nord Stream casts doubt on the reliability of the entire system, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia.
Peskov called the situation around Nord Stream a crisis
According to him, Gazprom has no technological reserves to ensure supplies.
“Actually, there is no reservation, not through the fault of Gazprom. Therefore, accordingly, the reliability of the entire system is under threat,” Peskov told reporters.
He stressed that energy markets, in particular European ones, are now in a state of fever and a deep crisis due to anti-Russian sanctions.
“Europeans, and in many respects from the United States, buy liquefied gas for big money, completely unjustified money. US companies are getting richer, while European taxpayers are getting poorer,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
“Let’s see how the oil cases will develop if such absurd decisions are made,” Peskov added.
