Peskov: there are many regions in the world where Russian gas can be in demand
MOSCOW, 14 Sep — PRIME. Europe is not the only consumer of natural gas, there are many regions in the world with ambitious development plans where Russian gas can be in demand, Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, told reporters.
Russia will not supply oil and gas at a loss, Shulginov said
“Europe is not the only consumer of natural gas and is not the only continent that needs natural gas to ensure high rates of development. There are regions that, by the way, are developing at a faster rate and have much more ambitious development programs. In these regions, the demand for gas may well compensate for the lack of demand in the European direction,” Peskov said in response to a request to comment on statements that Russia would have to burn its gas after Europe refused it.
