Pictures and release date of GeForce RTX 2060

Videocardz journalists put their hands on something really interesting, because real photos of the GeForce RTX 2060 card, and even its release date.

Let’s start with the fact that we are talking about the GeForce RTX 2060 Founders Edition variant, the one designed by Nvidia. Again, the manufacturer decided to use “open” cooling instead of turbine. This was simply copied from the RTX 2070 Founders Edition card, offering back two fans. The photos also show that the card will have an appetite for power delivered from an 8-pin power connector, a full backplate, and will offer two DisplayPort video outputs, a single HDMI, DVI, and a USB Type-C port.

Moreover, the date of the GeForce RTX 2060 presentation, which will take place at the Nvidia conference during CES 2019, has been confirmed. This in turn will take place on January 7 at 5:00 a.m. and it looks like the company will be announcing a number of products within it. Anyway, the actual premiere, i.e. the entry of cards on store shelves and manufacturers’ offers, is to start on January 15. As for the card specification itself, we have already considered it here.
