PNY Announces Its DDR5 XLR8 MAKO Memories Up To 5600 MT / s -

Today we bring you new news about the fantastic DDR5 memories, and if you thought you had already seen it all, we inform you that PNY announces its DDR5 XLR8 MAKO memories up to 5600 MT / s.

PNY delights us with the specifications of its upcoming Performance and XLR8 Gaming DDR5 memories. All three models include the overclocked XLR8 Gaming MAKO and MAKO RGB models, running at 5600MHz and a CAS latency of 36, as well as the PNY Performance model that follows JEDEC standards.

The XLR8 Gaming MAKO and MAKO RGB modules have been designed to meet the needs of gamers and enthusiasts. Both modules’ designs feature aluminum heat sinks with elements inspired by the powerful, fast and aggressive Mako shark from which they get their name. An XLR8 logo and GAMING text are stamped on the side of the module and silver angled relief lines are machined into the heatsink to reflect lighting from other components for unrivaled style and flair.

The MAKO RGB model comes equipped with super bright RGB LEDs that are diffused with a geometric polymer light tube offering a superior RGB lighting experience. Users will be able to control their module lighting with mainboard RGB sync and control software, providing a seamless user experience.

PNY has been rigorously testing these modules with its motherboard partners, including ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI, to ensure the broadest compatibility and aggressive overclocking possible. During extensive testing, the XLR8 Gaming MAKO modules have been raised to 6400 MHz. DDR5 kits with this overclocked performance “out of the box” will be available in Q4.

With the recent announcement of Intel Alder Lake CPUs, DDR5 will soon become the standard for gamers, enthusiasts, and modders to create the best computing experience. Additional CPU manufacturers are expected to launch processors with DDR5 support in 2022.
