MOSCOW, 4 Oct — PRIME. Representatives of the EU countries have agreed on a new package of sanctions against Russia, including a price ceiling for Russian oil, the Politico newspaper reports, citing European diplomats.
Media: EU wants to impose a ceiling on oil prices from Russia in the coming weeks
Representatives reached a framework agreement on the eighth package of sanctions against Moscow on Tuesday, they said. Diplomats said EU officials would approve the final version of the text on Wednesday.
