Tim Draper, the popular Bitcoin investor, plans to invest in India’s crypto ecosystem.
On March 22, the Draper declared that the recent Supreme Court decision was “a rebirth of India” from a crypto perspective. In his view, investors can now start investing in the local blockchain industry.
In an interview with Inc42, Draper said he “had meetings with several Bitcoin and crypto startups” in March. He plans to fund some of the projects he has discussed.
“The Supreme Court of India and the Indian government have shown that the best ideas are finally prevailing and it is the most appropriate time. The benefits of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies over current systems will become evident during this crisis, ”
Draper said.
