Portable satellite terminals for the Polish Army. The Armaments Agency bought 100 units

The State Treasury, represented by the Armaments Agency, concluded a contract between GISS Sp. z o. o., pursuant to which portable satellite terminals will be purchased for the Polish Army.

The Polish Army will get new portable satellite terminals

We know everything about the order. In themselves, mobile satellite terminals are examples of the tactical level SHF (Super High Frequency), which, according to the announcements, are to provide reliable satellite communication available in every part of the world for sub-units of the Polish Armed Forces. They will be transferred to units performing tasks away from the main forces, both in Poland and abroad.

Under the contract, 100 copies of portable satellite terminals will be delivered to the Polish Army under a contract worth USD 38.1 million gross. This will take place in the years from 2022 to 2024, and in addition to the satellites themselves, the military will also receive the equipment and appropriate training that are part of them. We also learned that the Polish arms agency is currently looking for weapons to combat armored targets.
