AMD broke the news with a tweet showing a video card with a heatsink characterized by two fans, but otherwise visually similar to that already seen on previous higher-end references.

In the past few hours, March 18 was rumored as the debut date, and this date could still be valid for the actual arrival on the market. We’ll see.

As for the features, the indiscretions so far emerged tell us about a card based on the new Navi 22 GPU, with 40 Compute Units (2560 stream processors) and accompanied by 12 GB of GDDR6 memory on 192 bit bus. There would also be 96 MB of Infinity Cache. The RX 6700 XT should compete with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, but even then at the moment a speculation.

From the video you can see that the card equipped with three DisplayPort and one HDMI, but there is no USB C output. It is possible that together with the RX 6700 XT AMD also unveils the smooth variant (6700), characterized according to the rumors by less stream processors and half the memory.
