Returnal Action Time Loop Released

Housemarque, together with Sony, announced the postponement of the release date of the Returnal action to April 30, previously this project was supposed to be released on March 19. You don’t even need to guess about the reasons, everything is already clear – the desire to improve the technical state of the game.

Recall that Housemarque is an action game with roguelike elements. The main character, Selena, made an emergency landing on an ever-changing planet and is now forced to look for a way out of this unfriendly place. The trouble for the girl is that time on this planet is “looped”. Well, if it’s easier to say, then Selena is in a time loop, and each unsuccessful end of the adventure throws her back to the very beginning. A pleasant moment for the player is that when the trip is reset, the main character retains some of the previously discovered abilities. This makes each new playthrough easier.

Update: Returnal has a new release date of April 30, 2021. SIE and Housemarque have made the decision to change the release date to give the team more time to bring the quality of the game to the level players expect from Housemarque.
