MOSCOW, 6 Oct — PRIME. Roscosmos and NASA are working on holding a meeting of the heads of departments, said Sergey Krikalev, executive director of the Russian state corporation for manned programs.
Russia called for the continuation of international cooperation in space
“(The meeting between Yuri Borisov and Bill Nelson) is being worked out. There is a desire on both sides,” he said in Florida in connection with the launch of an international crew with Russian cosmonaut Anna Kikina to the ISS.
According to the representative of Roskosmos, the parties are counting on the discussion of a number of significant issues. He stressed that the heads of the Russian and American space departments held telephone conversations, during which a mutual invitation was made to hold their meeting.
Krikalev added that any place could be considered for negotiations.
