Russia has protected the sphere of extraction of raw materials from unfriendly countries, Putin said
VLADIVOSTOK, 7 Sep — PRIME. Russia has protected the sphere of extraction of raw materials from the actions of unfriendly countries, said Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF).
The West deceived the poorest countries with the export of Ukrainian grain, Putin said
“We have already protected the raw material extraction sector from unfriendly actions. Now only companies in Russian jurisdiction have the right to develop our natural resources,” he said.
The President added that the Ministry of Industry and Trade with specialized associations determined Russia’s needs for raw materials, these data will form the basis of the development strategy until 2050.
The WEF takes place on September 5-8 on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island in Vladivostok. RIA Novosti acts as the general media partner of the forum.
