Russia will begin construction of the Mongolian section of the “Forces of Siberia – 2”
MOSCOW, 12 Oct — PRIME. In order to increase the export of energy resources to fast-growing markets, Russia will start implementing promising projects, including the construction of the Mongolian section of Power of Siberia 2, President Vladimir Putin said as part of the Russian Energy Week.
Putin spoke about the consequences of introducing a ceiling on energy prices
“We intend to expand the geography of our deliveries. In the near future we will identify key infrastructure facilities for this, and we will begin their construction, including such promising projects as Power of Siberia 2 and its Mongolian section Soyuz Vostok,” he said.
In addition, Russia will link the Asian and European segments of the national gas transportation system and support LNG terminal projects, the head of state added.
