Ryzen 9 3950X selected by Silicon Lottery, most of them touch 4.1 GHz on all cores

Silicon Lottery, known reality that tests and selects microprocessors for overclocking fans, has got to put your hand on a sample of Ryzen 9 3950X processors finding that most CPUs have been able to reach a frequency of 4.1 GHz.

Statistics released in August regarding the Ryzen 9 3900X (12 cores) indicated that 68% of the samples had reached 4.1 GHz and 35% the 4.15 GHz. It therefore follows that the chances of reaching a higher overclock they shrink by opting for the 16-core model – which is not strange, of course. Silicon Lottery has decided to put on sale five selected Ryzen 9 3950X models that sold out after a few hours. In addition to the four models with relative prices and guaranteed speeds / parameters that you see in the table, there is also a special FCLK edition tested to ensure that the IMC supports DDR4-3800 memory and runs the 1900 MHz Infinity Fabric interconnection with a SoC voltage of 1.1V. Since only 12% of the samples tested can achieve this, the asking price is around $ 1300.

Recall that the processor with 16 cores and 32 threads of AMD has a base frequency of 3.5 GHz and reaches 4.7 GHz only a single core. In the United States it has a list price of 749 dollars, in Italy it is found starting from just under 1000 euros, but availability is limited.
