In 2017, AMD launched after many ifs and buts its new graphics architecture Vega, in the form of the two new models Radeon RX Vega 56 and Radeon RX Vega 64. Shortly afterwards, models from partner manufacturers began to find out on the web, including graphics cards from Asus, Sapphire and Gigabyte.
Now another model from Sapphire is launched with the name Radeon RX Vega 56 Pulse. This comes equipped with the company’s own cooler with two 92 mm fans and a specially adapted circuit board. Unlike the reference model, it takes up three expansion slots and two 8-pin PCI Express connectors are used for power supply.
In terms of specifications, a base frequency of 1,208 MHz and a turbo frequency of 1,512 MHz are stated, which is approximately 150 MHz higher than the reference model. In the connection path, the graphics card is equipped with three Displayports and one HDMI.
The Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 56 Pulse is available at retailers from 12 February and is expected to cost around SEK 7,900.
