MOSCOW, 3 Oct — PRIME. Satellite images show that gas leaks from the Nord Stream gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea have stopped. RIA Novosti correspondents drew attention to this.
As noted, the American satellites Wordview-1 and Wordview-2 filmed the area of emergency on October 1 and 2. Judging by the pictures, the leaks have stopped.
Earlier, the Danish Energy Agency announced the cessation of leaks and stabilization of pressure.
A gas leak on the strings of the Russian gas pipelines Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 was discovered on September 26 in the Baltic Sea. According to Swedish seismologists, powerful underwater explosions were recorded in the emergency area the day before.
Germany, Denmark and Sweden did not rule out that the incidents could have been the result of targeted sabotage.
